The App does not require an account. We do not ask for, and do not collect, your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location. Your practice test progress and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to us.
3. Information Collected by Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, which may collect information automatically:
-
Google AdMob (advertising) – used to show ads in the App. AdMob may collect your device’s advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and app information, and ad interaction data, in order to serve, measure and (where you consent) personalise ads.
See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
-
Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting) – used to help us fix bugs. When the App crashes, Crashlytics collects crash logs, device model, operating system version, app version and an installation identifier.
See the Firebase privacy information.
Both services are provided by Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited. Data is transmitted over an encrypted connection.
4. How We Use Information
- To show advertising that helps keep the App free (legal basis: your consent where required, otherwise our legitimate interests).
- To diagnose crashes and improve the App’s stability (legal basis: our legitimate interests).
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Data Retention
Crash reports are kept by Firebase Crashlytics for up to 90 days. Advertising data is retained by Google in line with Google’s own retention policies. Data stored on your device is deleted when you uninstall the App.
6. Your Choices and Rights
- You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your device settings (Android: Settings > Google > Ads; iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking).
- Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
- You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we change our data practices, we will update this Privacy Policy and the App’s Data Safety section on Google Play, and change the effective date above.
